- Pack and Move In: Bring your items to the chosen facility. We provide free padlocks and keys, and our branches are equipped with 24/7 CCTV for security.
No deposit is required, and our pricing is transparent with no hidden fees.
The cost of a self storage unit varies based on size and location. At Storage Works, we offer competitive pricing with no hidden fees. For example, a 10 sq ft unit starts at £19.50 for the first month in our Marston Green facility. What size self storage unit is right for me?
Choosing the right unit size depends on the volume of items you plan to store. Here’s a quick guide:
- 10 sq ft: Ideal for storing boxes, small items, or seasonal belongings.
- 25 sq ft: Suitable for the contents of a small garden shed, like tools and small furniture.
- 50 sq ft: Can accommodate items from a one-bedroom flat, including furniture and appliances.
- 100 sq ft: Fits contents of a two-bedroom house.
- 200 sq ft: Enough space for a four-bedroom house.
For personalized assistance, our team is available to help determine the appropriate size based on your needs.
Storage Works’ staffed office hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00
- Sunday: Closed
- Bank Holidays: Closed
Existing customers have access during extended hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 06:00 – 19:00
- Sunday: 06:00 – 18:00

However, for safety and legal reasons, the following items are prohibited:

No, at Storage Works, we do not require a deposit. You can move in without the worry of paying a deposit, and our pricing is transparent with no hidden costs.
Yes, you can reserve a storage unit to ensure availability. We recommend visiting our facility for a tour to choose the unit that best fits your needs. To arrange a visit or reserve a unit, please contact us at your preferred location.
We offer flexible storage terms to suit your needs. There is no minimum or maximum rental period; you can store your items for as short or as long as you require. Our pay-as-you-go model ensures you only pay for the time you need.
While our staffed office hours are limited, existing customers have extended access to their storage units:
- Monday to Saturday: 06:00 – 19:00
- Sunday: 06:00 – 18:00
